IMO, there are some that do just look for certain posters to infract that cause issues, such as like_that, CoA, Lotz, etc, but then, if you're a "good" poster, and do something that's infraction worthy, unless it's really bad, some just kinda let it slide and look past it.justincredible;1362919 wrote:I'm so glad we're all on the same page.

So what's the solution? Remove all moderators and start from scratch? Everyone must be voted in by the community by receiving a certain number of votes? If I knew what to do here I'd do it.
Aside from hiring moderators that have no experience with this site there is never going to be perfect moderation. And being a dick about stuff in here isn't going to help solve anything.

Is there any way to have it send a message here so we can have a record of it, like an infraction?
The reason I ask is because thread banning is fine, but if someone has been thread banned 20 times its probably time to try something else because thats obviously not working. but not all mods necessarily know who is getting thread banned, so they'll just keep getting slapped on the wrist when it's well beyond that point

I've been saying this for a while. I think thread banning and deleting posts are the best way to do things, but if I see a post that should just be unapproved, all I can do is report it.
