This will probably get moved to the basement, because idk why

Some of us really like this site and care about it staying here and staying as active as it's been. I don't want to have to go to Twitter, or other teams' forums, or that gay TMZ site or whatever. I like this site because I can get all my information about practically everything from here (well, and reddit). That's genuine too, justin. You should probably know that.

HOWEVER, there are certainly substitutes to this site. It would be so easy to find an Ohio Chatter elsewhere.

So why keep Fly4Fun (aka F4F, C4F, etc.) on as a moderator? What does he add? The guy barely posts. He bans people for such minor infractions of the rules, it should almost be made public for the world to laugh at the sadness.

My vow--I will not post on a thread where F4F posts on from now on, until he loses his mod status. Take away his mod status, or you'll start to see a dramatic drop in post count, thread views, and of course money in your pocket justin. If you do this, I will certainly try even harder than I already am at not violating the rules, and I'm sure others will as well.

This. Its pretty much the same few people who do nothing but bitch about it all day. Maybe just ban them? Then they wouldn't have these problems anymore.

I'm not trying to be pompous, or sarcastic. I'm just failing to understand all the outrage over one guy getting a one week basement ban. You make it seem like Fly4Fun is throwing out infractions left and right but he's not. Also, it's not like there is mass outrage over this. I'm not going to run the site based on a vocal minority. I get that some people don't like it, but a lot more people could not care less because it isn't that big of a deal. Maybe the one week ban will be enough to get like_that to chill out a little bit? If certain people decided to chill out a bit and not be dicks the site would be better. If people just got along we wouldn't even need moderators. Of course, this is all my opinion.

Remember when Raw Dawgin' It got a week ban? He served it and that was it. I don't remember he or anyone else freaking out about it. Because it wasn't a big deal.

Think fly4 has reprimanded me a few times, probably even given me a ban to the basement for a bit, but for the most part I dont notice him or her. Heck, maybe its a he/she.

But if he sent like_that to the basement for a week then I have a newfound respect for him/her/it. Like_that and bloviating j/o's like him are the bottom of the barrel type of garbage that ruin message boards and I say good riddance to that fool

I guess I should apologize for getting older and that a bunch of people running around telling each other to fuck themselves and such just doesn't appeal to me anymore. I mean, I started the basement for a reason. To keep that shit in one place and make the rest of the site more enjoyable FOR EVERYONE. We haven't necessarily been consistent in moderating, that's my fault. We've been trying to use thread bans and just deleting posts more often but eventually it gets tiring.
