Good Stuff. I still think Sunkle is the better at 170, but time will tell.

I think a match between he and Walker (HD) would be a real battle!

Have Laney (GM) and Brusco (Hayes) met up this year?

Also, upon his return, I think Hogue (PC) is 3rd at 26... just a thought.

Why is Rahmani not ahead of Penzone like he is in all the other posts? What kind of rating system is this?

Probably so he didn't have to listen to anyone complain.

Anyway, I'd also like to see Dooley v DiSabato
Black v Pollit (Olentangy) would also be interesting

...as reported by shoot and sprawl (thanks!)

A bit closer than I would have thought. One would have to think Furnass makes a difference, no? I don't think he gives up 6.

Perhaps I (we?) discount Liberty. Or give too much to Davidson? Either way, looks like a good night of wrestling.

I think Thrasher has put his name on the notable 132's.

Did you see the dual? Did he get any takedowns on Wilson?

I did not see the dual. I only have two bits of info, one being the 11-8 score. Now, I've seen matches that aren't really that close end up 11-8, and this could be one of those times.

I guess it's not a huge deal, but I am a bit surprised by the score.

I was once pinned in the second period by Clint Douglas... it was NOT that close. ;) ;) ;)

Not familiar with Struttman (#3 @ 220, Westerville North.) Where was he last year? I believe David Stockton (returning DQ) from Columbus West has only lost once, to a kid he later pinned in the same tourney. He's looked good at 220 after moving up from 182.

First TD to back for 5.
Wilson bridged out of it to a potentially dangerous stoppage.
Wilson controlled the match at that point.
I was impressed with Thrasher tho.

Struttman wrestled amazing at Medina, Going I believe 5-2 or 6-2 and placing. That is why he is ahead of guys who were district placers last year even like Kinser TV, Lacey CW, (not a DP but wrestling great as of now only losing to Mowery) then would come Stockton.

Half Full, from the results I have seen right now, Stockton appears to be right behind the elite pack, and far ahead of the field behind him (barring one loss I did not get a chance to see). He has a good win over the thomas worthington kid who beat crumb. On the downside, I dont think west will see any of the top 4-5 guys at 220 until sectionals.

I didn't have the best view of it (I was looking at Thrashers back )
Very early in the first period, It looked like Wilson was in under Thrasher for a thrown & Thrasher went into him and took him to his back for 5.
Wilson bridged as described by lites.
On the restart Wilson escaped.
Wilson proceeded to take Thrasher down 5 times, cutting him lose 3 times.
Thrasher was very stout on bottom refusing to be turned.

Thrasher is a game scrapper, and is well coached and very experienced, having traveled to the many off season events that liberty participates in over the last several years.
Anyone who steps on the mat against him, had better be ready to wrestle.

It was a good match. It was a good dual.
I'm disappointed that Liberty wasn't at full strength (Furnace, Penzone and Matt Snyder all out of the starting line up) not because I care who won, but because it would have made it all the more entertaining. Everyone that did participate were out there to win it.
... of course I too would have liked to see the Ryan v. Smith bout.
Guess we'll have to wait until post season for that.

He was tonight vs Central Crossing but up at 126 I would have liked to see a match with him and Wimer at 120 could have been fun before Wimer drops to 113

I must say, I wasn't too sure about Ferguson (PN). Saw him wrestle tonight, and he's definitely in the equation.
