New Years Eve marked the end of 2012 as well as the Tigers' season with a crushing loss to Clemson in the Chick-fil-a bowl. Not much to say on that game in particular as my expectations weren't especially high considering the way the ACC comes out to play every week. I kept my fingers crossed that perhaps the layoff wouldn't be quite enough time for Clemson to recover from the week in and week out beatings the ACC teams take in conference play across the board. Sadly, we just couldn't pull it out. Our boys fought hard though, so we have nothing to be ashamed of.
The offense ended the season 87th in total offense, just one place off the mark of the performance of the 2011 squad. That regression, albeit minor, was really surprising to me given the emphasis on improving production on that side of the ball after last year's title game http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/boxscore?gameId=320090099
I can't believe I'm saying this but I think I actually miss Jordan Jefferson

Mettenberger was the missing link to a championship coming in to 2012 so with another year of seasoning under Miles, I'd say they'll only lose 2 games this year. Solid improvement.

Why was this topic moved to the basement? cats gone wild has never in his life posted a productive or helpful comment on the college football forums. Not once. He has however used the term ROGL numerous times and also threatened to put a curse on me months ago. Not to mention he's a walking personal attack. Just yesterday he combined ROGL with a disparaging comment about the Big 10 football conference. Why is he not moved to this forum?
