I for one am happy not only for fans but for Arena district business owners as well. I plan on seeing a couple games, hopefully tickets will be cheaper.

I care so little about hockey that I didn't even know they were locked out.

Ill agree with gerb about the business side. I'm sure the arena district is losing so much money.

But I'm not at all excited about hockey. I just haven't missed it at all.

Honestly who cares? Hockey is so fucking boring to watch. Loved playing it in high school, never caught on to watching it though..

It's not crazy for them to make the playoffs. All you have to do is have one hot streak and you're probably in as 48 games isn't a whole lot.

This is something we both have in common. Reps when I get to a PC and you can take that to the bank.

This season is a wash to me. What ever team wins the cup should have an asterisk next to it's name. Congrats, you won the half season championship.

The only thing I'm happy about is my team can make the trades necessary to win it all next year.

LOL. I wonder how many soccer fans are on this thread, saying they don't care about NHL.

Happy to have it back. Disappointed that Cbus didn't get the ASG. I'm anxious to see the young guys for Columbus to see how they compete in the shortened season. Unfortunately there won't be as much leeway for the new players to gel, but if they get one or two hot streaks, who knows.

Never understood the concept of trying to punish a team for not offering their product by not buying their product.

Love my hockey but usually didnt pay attention to it until after the first of the year anyways. They really are trying to kill the sport off by the second big time work stoppage in a short time period.

Really is a bad deal for those normal everyday working people who depend on the NHL games for their livlihoods......people who work at the arena's, restuarants nearby, etc. Those are the people wh oare hurt but by the work stoppages.

It really sucks that Columbus lost out on the ASG due to the lockout. I was really looking forward to going and taking in some of the festivities. Hopefully will make it to a couple games.
