Nope...he should stay, or be able to stay if he so chooses. Just because someone makes a complete ass of themselves is not reason enough to initiate censorship of his "beliefs", irrespective of how inane or obtuse they are to the majority. This is 'Merica.
On a side note however...it has been suggested by many that bringing up his sexual preference should not be permitted as it has no relevance...on the contrary, I think it sheds a lot of light on how warped he is morally. Not the fact that he is gay, but the fact that he has such an experience I assume with discrimination. The fact that he has such a polarized view of the situation contrary to popular thought emblazens the nature of the thought process of a community that's about to implode.
Let that train wreck proceed...full steam ahead.
