New Years tradition:D

Belly always has a good time on New Year's Eve all of the standard frolicking, festive spirit.
On New Year's Day the first dinner is a tradition meal of port and sauerkraut cook with a silver dollar on top, mash potatoes, corn and corn bread.
Tradition of the Belly family for years

Do you have any New Year traditions?

I like to sit in my parents basement eating TV dinners and Doritos all day. Once the clock hits 11:59 I chug a zima then pass out before the ball drops.

I used to not like it, but I had some homemade kraut on some smoked brats this summer, and it was really good.

Growing up I hated kraut. Mom always got the stuff from the stores and it was nasty as hell. I tried some my aunt made and it was great. So now we make our own and its far better then any store bought crap.

Hating sauerkraut, we made enchiladas a few years ago, and has become a family tradition. Otherwise, turn on the games and put away the Christmas stuff.

We always have a party here at the house in NYE. Had friends over last night. Ate, drank, played a game and just had a good time overall. Today I just watch football and eat leftovers...maybe have a few beers.

We will be doing the Pork and Kraut with some Black eyed Peas as we do every year.

Last night was a stay at home night. We had a nice dinner of Filets and Lobster tails...and lots of beverages.
