I'm not sure how much the starters will play considering Cincy is locked into the 6 seed. But I would still rather get the win & have a lot of momentum going into the playoffs of having won 7 of their last 8 games.

Bengals have said they will play starters all 60 minutes. There is some merit being a young team and a team who has yet to get a signature win before last week, but still. Knowing the Bengals luck, they will sustain significant injuries.
They should treat the game like a preseason game and maybe play the starters for a half. The other "young contributors" should get more reps, but they definitely shouldn't be rolling guys like Leon Hall out there all game.

I am never a fan of sitting guys in the last game unless they really are injured. If I was the coaches I would hammer home all week we are playing to win and go into the game with that mentality. If during the game things dont go your way then maybe substitute in later in the game alot more than normal.

Bullshit on 10TV part to show Browns and Steelers.

Both games are 100% meaningless. More people will watch a meaningless Browns/Steelers game. Makes sense...even if the non-televised game is between playoff teams.gerb131;1351799 wrote:Bengals 27 Ravens 20

No Mike Wallace, 1/8 Ben,3rd string qb, no TRich oh I'm sure its gonna be a huge draw.Azubuike24;1351928 wrote:Both games are 100% meaningless. More people will watch a meaningless Browns/Steelers game. Makes sense...even if the non-televised game is between playoff teams.
Furthermore the Bengals game is sold out.

Since the Bengals will be playing in the post season you will have other opportunities to see your team play.

However, this will be the last chance for the Browns and Steelers fans to see their team and we will give them that chance.
Good luck to the Bengals in the playoffs and thank you for watching WBNS-10TV.

Good answer I guess....but everyone involved know it's about ratings and they feel Browns/Steelers will draw greater ratings.

I just saw Wallace was out. Anyone paying more than 20 to see this game isn't very smart.

Also, there are no CBS games with any potential postseason implications. It doesn't help that the entire AFC (both teams and seeding is decided) and there are no NFC-team home games with playoff hopes to air. It's really a no-win situation the whole weekend as fantasy leagues are mostly over and NBC has the only really important game between 2 contenders.

Top 3 seeds in the AFC could change order, but the rest is true.

This offense stinks... Is Bob Bratkowski calling the offense again? 5 Drive, 5 Punts, 0 Targets for AJ Green

Colts leading Houston. IMO, an optimal scenario for Cincinnati is the Texans getting bumped to the 3-seed, and Cincinnati getting a re-match in RD1 from last year. Need a New England win and a Houston loss, but I think that bodes well for the Bengals and how they are playing (and how Houston is playing). Cincinnati owes Houston from 2 heartbreaking losses last year...

Agree.....but at Houston will be very tough, but at least possible. At Denver is not and at NE is so unlikely.
Houston shitting their pants...goodness.

That result surprises me too. Indy has nothing to play for and Houston is going for a bye.
