I would have to say good, although I don't think it really matters which one you have in goal. With the defense as bad as it is and the amount of turnovers the offense has, both goalies will continue to give up several goals each night. Neither goalie is playing good enough right now to play behind that defense and only give up 1-2 goals.

I'm surprised it took so long for them to reach this point. Garon's numbers are wayyy better than Mason's. At least he finally gets a shot at taking the number one job.

I'm also excited to see Voracek Vermette and Nash on a line together. I've been wanting to see it for awhile but didn't figure Jake would get moved to the LW.

Anddd Phoenix scores. 0-1

What an absolutely piss poor power play by Columbus. I think Phoenix had the puck more than Columbus.

4-1 Phoenix. Boll looked for a fight during the celebration and got one...ended up landing a nice hook and an upper cut...guy had blood on the ice and had to be helped off.

I'm guessing Boll gets a game misconduct.

Boll got in a fight with Hanzal after a Phoenix goal and either cut him or gave him a bloody nose. It is looking like that will be the highlight of the game for the Jackets. They are now down 4-1 in the second period.

No game misconduct, but an extra roughing penalty....Phoenix to the power play.

I dont believe Hitch will be fired soon. I do believe however, he will get the axe at the end of the season. The CBJ tanks this year, the organization will need to make a change. Attendance is already being affected. Wait till they have thousands of empty seats after the Olympics and into March.
