I guess I don't get how there can be so many "funny" autocorrects.

Do people not read their texts as they are texting? I cannot say that I have ever had anything autocorrected without noticing.

Autocorrects are lame and fake. Autocorrect doesn't correct regular words into cusswords...it corrects cusswords into regular words. So I rarely laugh at these.

Not true at all. I type fuck all the time, and anything close to it now autocorrects to that. I have to be careful I dont send out the wrong one a lot.

My question, why do people leave auto-correct turned on? I contend they don't, but like to blame auto-correct for their inability to spell.

Because 85% of the time it is much faster to type out my entire thought without going back. I usually have everything correct, but I know for a fact I didnt actually...but autocorrect fixes it. When at work or something I dont usually read over the text. I just type it and send. I trust people can figure out any mistakes. Ive had the sec/sex one get me a lot.
