On December 18, 1997, Farley was found dead by his younger brother, John, in his apartment in the John Hancock Center in Chicago. An autopsy later revealed that Farley had died of a drug overdose early that morning.

John Candy wasn't a cast member on SNL. Plus he was like 45 when he died of a heart attack.

The saddest part of it all, is that Farley has been dead so long now that he's at the point in time where an entire generation has no idea who he is.

Prolonged periods of shortness of breath, regardless of the "cause," led to a visit to the family physician, as I'm sure any person would do, to help find the cause.

Drinking, then going to the hospital? No.
