This is becoming and incredibly disturbing trend in our society today. It seems that with each tragic event that occurs, it inspires another-- and they begin to plot and simply wait. My prayers go out to all those that have been and will be affected by this tragedy.

And of course the POTUS sharing remarks now (which he probably has to), only creates a bigger spotlight to appeal to these nutjobs.

Am I the only one that could see a huge tragedy happening on 12/21/12? I just feel like there's some nutjob out there that will want to try to make it the end of the world for as many people as possible.

While we're at it lets make heroin illegal too. That way no one will use it anymore.

My biggest fear is he is the leader of a country like North Korea or Iran.

Shooters brother found dead according to CNN in Hoboken. Haven't said anything about his father being dead.

Unfortunately in his speech he did reference "putting aside politics to take meaningful action to prevent this in the future".

Whats to disagree about that? Something does need done to prevent it. He didn't say what. Interpret it how you wish.

Flawless argument.

I'm finding interesting this whole deal with the guys Facebook photo being broadcast. It's a man with the same name and same TWO towns listed in common with the suspect but he is posting that it's a misidentification. However, some are claiming that someone else is working this Facebook page and it is in fact the correct Ryan Lanza whose pic is being spread around the Internet.

Yeah, the deadliest school massacre in the US didn't happen in 1927 and involve a guy blowing up an elementary school or anything....

Kudos to BHO and that prevention begins with ball busting gun controls.

Empty words, IMO. You think Israel or years hasn't tried to prevent suicide bombings? How's that working out for them. Sadly there's no preventing some things unless you go full gestapo and lock everyone down.

Because he did not know that the guy took his own life at the school?

Apparently the shooter may have a brother (who is currently in custody).

And if someone hacked the shooter's FB page I hope they get the guy and throw him in the clink, too.

I read a comment on FB, so I don't know if it's true. But the comment said a single family lost a 5, 6 and 7 year old in this shooting. Seems unlikely.

Yea sounds like he killed one classroom full, his mom and the principal and others who walked out in the hallway. Doesn't sound like he went walking through the school.

NBC New York saying that Ryan Lanza may not be the shooter, and it was his brother Adam. Ryan in custody and being questioned. Crazy.
