So my brother and his wife smoke but make their kids leave the room when someone is smoking. Does this make sense to anyone?

Smoking is the worst. They should at least get a couple good air purifiers for the sake of the kids.

Yes, assuming they don't smoke near their kids.

Parents should quit, but at the minimum go outside to smoke. Leaving the room doesn't cut it from what I understand.

I guess my point is that I find it dumb for people who smoke to act like their kids can't be in the same room as anyone who is smoking. They get yelled at for simply walking through a room to get to another. Oh and to top it off they haven't even tried to quit.

How about fat people with kids that haven't tried to lose weight? Not a good example to be setting.

I don't have kids and I've lost a bunch of weight. Thanks for reminding everyone you're a jackass though.

Would be a good correlation if the fat parents were force feeding the kids the HFCS crap by products, otherwise smoking is direct harm and fat momma is an indirect harm.

A kid having fat parents doesn't definitely affect the kids growing up (though numerous negatives probably happen)....the smoking parents are hurting their kids immune systems....breathing, smell

Smokers suck.

This is just another reason you should have to pass a test to have kids and then get the license renewed every 5 yrs with an inspection. Or your kids are taken away and given to responsible people who actually have a clue about life.

While I'm thinking about it just put me in charge of everything and the world would be a much better place to live in.

You've obviously thought long and hard about this. Good thing there are tons of people lining up to take on kids that don't have them already and we don't have overcrowded foster homes now. /sarcasm
