Displaced avulsion fracture. Basically, my tendon ripped off part of my bone. Painkillers aren't working. That is all.

If there's one thing about me you all should know, it's that I can't do that.

Had knee surgery last week. Removed half my meniscus in my right knee. Painkillers worked great.

I've ran 3 half marathons this year. Running wasn't the issue, my clumsiness was.

Haven't got to ortho yet. I think they said tibia. I know the tibia isn't the ankle, but that's where the pain is.

I've had so many sprains on each....not sure they are breakable (knocking hard) lol
Strange though because jogging made my ankles infinitely stronger and nearly unable to sprain.

Thank you for not naming the thread; "So....I fractured my ankle today....." Really grinds my gears when the OP does that.

Ran two marathons in June and waited a few months to see a doctor. Just got diagnosed with a strained ligament and have to start physical therapy soon. Trust me, every time you see someone running on the road you will hate them. Best of luck man.

Doesn't work if you're in the military. We'll see when I retire.
