I remember everyone treating Phil like a god for doing this.. They act like it was a spontaneous moment of heroics for Dr Phil, when in actuality it was probably a publicity stunt. Do you really think he hadn't watched the footage before bringing the guy on his show? SMHGoChiefs wrote:

Oh hell no..I agree completely. I believe it was planned on Dr. Phil's part. But I agree with him that these things are absolutely disgusting.

I wouldn't feel comfortable watching Bumfights, but the Dr. Phil clip really got to me.

It might not have been a bum fight. My cousin downloaded a bunch of "bum fights" off of limewire and that was one that he showed me.
