Weeden.

Neither of those QB's would really be a significant upgrade. Vick is a "dog/coach killer" and Alex Smith is a game manager who won't win you games with his arm. Need a lockdown defense & extraordinary special teams to win with him. Weeden is still a work in progress who should get another year.

Please tell me how "I'd take RG3 over them all" is saying he would be the next QB for the Browns? I'd take Tom Brady over them all as well, that doesn't mean I think he will be the next QB for the Browns. I just made a general comment that I think he's better than all of them. Derp.

Vick signed a 6 year contract in 2011 so, unless he's released, he's not a FA.

Smith is much better. Weeden isnt even a game manager at this point. I dont want to hear about the work in progress stuff when every other rookie QB has played better and none have a ton of weapons. Im fine with giving him another year but he just hasnt shown much this year.

Stick with Weeden for another year. Vick would be a huge mistake. Alex Smith had a good season last year, but was also in a good situation with that defense and offense (rushing attack and few receiving options that are good).

I don't think either Weeden or Alex Smith would be the franchise quarterback the Browns want, so just stay with the one you have for 1 more year (see if there are significant improvements) if not, time to move on
