Bengals are 1 Point favorites....

Bengals really need to win this game if they have any hope of staying in the playoff race. I hoping the Defense can get to Philip Rivers quite a bit & that BenJarvus Green-Ellis continues his streak of 100 yard games. And also AJ Green will start a new Touchdown Reception Streak... With the next 2 games Vs. Dallas & @ Philadelphia this game is a must win!

The Chargers are done. They have zero chance to make the playoffs. They have to win out AND get another half-dozen favorable results with other teams to make it.

Yes, it appears that way....I say they need one more loss. Weren't they 4-8 a few years back and made it. If they beat Cincy 50/50 IMO and then at Pittsburgh (if they continue to be this depleted)....they remain alive with 3 games left, of course having tie breaker over both teams they'd be competing with.

2011....Chargers were 4-7......finished the season 4-1 and missed on the playoffs due to tie breaker.

2010...Chargers started 2-5......finished 7-2 and lost out on playoffs in final week.

2009...Chargers started 2-3.....finished 11-0 to make playoffs.

2008...Chargers started 4-8...finished 4-0 and made playoffs.

Suck ass Norv and bitchy Rivers aren't done yet....

The problem is, they are 2 back in the wild card AND currently losing the tiebreaker to Indianapolis and Pittsburgh. 4 back of Denver AND got swept by the Broncos, so unless Denver loses out and San Diego wins out, the division is over.

Mathematically, they are still in it, but the probability of it happening is so low because not only are they 2 games behind 3 teams for the last spot, there are 3 other teams who are 4-7...

Obviously they have to win out, but I'd venture to say that even if they go 9-7, they have very good odds of STILL losing the tiebreaker. Like the Bengals, you can't lose to Cleveland...

In the last 4 seasons with Norv and Rivers the Chargers were 21-23 during the 1st 11 games of those seasons.....they were 17-3 over the last 5 weeks.

How can they lose a tie breaker to Cincy and Pittsburgh if they beat them both?

Lol....Cleveland has already defeated Pittsburgh, Cincy and SD.....who do you have beating them at 9-7?

You're assuming both of those teams finish 9-7. They wouldn't necessarily lose it to them but someone else.

JAX, STL, SEA, @MIA, NYJ.

That's Buffalo's remaining schedule. They are 4-7 but have better odds of winning out.

I don't disagree with you necessarily lol. I guess my point was win out and nothing is guaranteed...which is the crappy position Norv has put them in.

If Cincy just wins though, we can clarify this for sure next Tuesday :)

It's completely reasonable with the schedules remaining that Pittsburgh and Cincy finish 9-7 ASSUMING they lose to San Diego. I'm only stating that SD is more than capable of beating both, getting hot and winning out.

Buffalo has no record or past at winning 5 straight or finishing very strong.

Yes....Cincy winning or Pittsburgh winning over them will completely eliminate them....or if Pittsburgh somehow wins this week.

I can't stand Norv or Rivers and I watch every year for when they are out of it....the last 4 years has me believing they'll do it again. I pray I'm wrong....at least after this week. Lol

Good grief. At least we get baby Hawk back this week.
WHO DEY push for the playoffs. 27-13. Chargers o-line is horrid and Ryan Matthews is a fumble machine

Bengals have great first drive. Show a little swagger. Defense plays slow, Phil Rivers chews them up gets 3, then Dalton telegraphs one for the pick6. Danger time

Bengals answer with 3, should have been 6. Red Rifle got amped up and overthrew AJ on a sure TD catch.

Rivers 10/10 for 95 yards as I type

He'll start his period in the 2nd half and you guys can get a little gap on them.

I hate saying things like this, but the Bengals are going to lose this game, the Chargers aren't going to win it.

That's how Norv and Rivers have held on most of the past years

Chargers offense has been pretty lack-luster today. They haven't made the critical mistakes like the Bengals have, but they also haven't really done anything else, either.
