Ed Anzalone the retired NYFD and longtime self proclaimed "Fans Leader" of the NY Jets said he will no longer be "Fireman Ed" and lead the team in the J-E-T-S cheer at home games. Apparently it only took Ed 22 years to figure out what most of us figured out in 10 minutes...The Jets Suck!

Sorry missed it...but don't ya think Fireman Ed deserved his own thread? After putting up with Sexy Rexy, Pancho Sanchez and the Tebow Circus all season even Ed said "I can't take this shit anymore!"

I rooted for the Patriots to beat the Jets on Thursday, as I'll root against the Jets every week for the rest of the season so the house is cleaned. Rex needs fired. Tannenbaum needs fired. Cut everyone but Mangold and start over.

I feel your pain...I cheered against the Buckeyes for 2 yrs just so they would can Cooper and then we got "Lyin' Jimmy".
Great shit on the Dead Spin site Dawg...hilarious! Funny how the Jets fans themselves hated this guy. Every Buckeye Home game I just wanna punch "Cowboy Buckeye" lights out the guy is such a dick.

i don't think i could ever root for the jets, no matter how much we sucked.
