After the rough start, holy hell did he have a phenomenal year. Good chance he'll be a 1st Team AA, 1st Team B1G, and possibly B1G Defensive POTY if Simon doesn't get it.

-115 Tackles (70 solo, 45 assisted)
-17 TFL
-5 Sacks
-1 INT 1 TD
-10 PBU
-3 FF

I'm curious how Teo line matches up. I know Teo has him beat with INT

And they also play different positions in different schemes. I would expect them not to match up. Kind of pointless to compare them really. A better comparison to shazier would be Jarvis jones

Great linebacker on a good defense, he'll be a frontrunner for next year's Lombardi Award.

Tough to compare a 3-4 OLB to a 4-3 OLB. Like a 3-4 MLB to a 4-3 OLB.

I actually didn't compare anyone. Pick said he thought Shazier had better numbers in every category. Do you have trouble with reading?

I misread, my mistake. No need to act like a typical ND douche.

Georgia likes to run a lot of 4 man fronts though also. But jones a lot of the time is that speed pass rusher. I guess I shouldn't have chosen jones but he was the closest I could think of in terms of their responsibilities

I don't like to get into these OSU-ND pissing matches but if we're looking at things just based on stats...Taylor Martinez should have been every bit the Heisman candidate that Braxton Miller was if not moreso.

Here's a stat for you; Only 1 defensive player has won the Heisman in its history. Do you really think Te'o is better than Suh or Honey Badger? They didn't win it, Te'o won't win it, and ND will be 0-4 in BCS bowls come January. Fact.

Not fact at this point, just your opinion and that is a fact. Also, Te'o and the other Heisman candidates aren't up against Suh and Honey Badger as they were not college football players this season so that is neither here nor there.

I'll say this....Shazier is a very good player. I just don't think he's as good as Te'o. If you are using stats to say that he is...then that works both ways and Taylor Martinez deserves just as much Heisman hype as Braxton Miller.

Who said Shazier should or is getting Heisman hype?
