It was mentioned last week that Meyer likes guys who he knows are in to announce at all star games. NOT saying that's what's happening here, but maybe.
They said while at Florida he did this and then they looked back and there were tons of guys announcing for Florida at the games. So it makes sense. Hopefully he picks the good guys!

When I did (from my phone), all I saw was a bunch of tweets. However, after opening it up my laptop, it's some pretty good stuff. My bad.

lesson: don't OC from your phone.

Whitfield is The Man when it comes to QB development (yeah Chuckie not you) - I bet Brax will shock people at Spring Camp after this experience.

Anybody buying tickets to the B1G Championship for next season? Seriously OSU at worst should be 10-3 losing that one, Wisconsin, and Michigan. That is at worst

I think buckeye fans will be disappointed next year. Coming off an undefeated season I think most expect to play in the NC game next year.

I think that they benefitted from a very weak schedule and no national pressure to win this year. If they were not banned from postseason I dont think they wouild have been undefeated. There is something to be said about being undefeated, in the national spotlight with the media scrutiny that gets your opponants a little bit more amped, and your own team buckling under the pressure because this OSU team was not as good as their record.

but..they were undefeated and no one can take that away from them. They did what they had to do, but i think they stumble at least once last year if they were eligible.

Its possible for Buckeye fans to be disappointed and not make the NC next season, but your reasoning is way off base. They are still "The Ohio State University". Teams want to beat them. What do you have to say about Urban motivating the team and making them undefeated when they had nothing to play for? What about the just as easy schedule next season?

True, they are OSU and teams will want to be them, always. I think thought that you can admit that if they would have had the added target on their back of being ranked in the top 10, 7, 5, 3, etc throughout the season gives opponants JUST a little bit more juice.
ALso, the pressure locally and nationally can squash a team when the games they play each week are the biggest of their lives. Those two phenomenan (sp?) I think are reasons why we see so many teams get beat once they are number one throughout the season. The target, and added pressure each week of playing the biggest game of your life and being the biggest game of the season for every opponant is a bit different then what they had to go through this year.

I think it was a hell of a lot harder to go undefeated this year then you think. They had nothing at all to play for.. Yet in every game where things were tight, they found a way to win.

I think that is why next year they may not. Going undefeated, no matter how down the conference is, is a tough achievement. They certainly have the ability, but I think it will be tough to go 12-0 again.

Agreed. When was the last time a team went back-to-back seasons undefeated?

I wish it could be like the SEC where you could lose once and still get in
