Played one, played them all. Still a sucker for these games though. I'll be interested in checking it out.

Looks pretty awesome. The map is supposed to be bigger than GTA 4, San Andres, and Red Dead Redemption combined.

As long as I can still get bored with the storyline 3/4 of the way through and just go on rampages instead, I will enjoy it.

That doesn't even appeal to me. Map in SA was just huge, took forever to get across and most of it had sameness feel to me.

I'm already bored with the storyline and I haven't even played it yet. If you've played any of the GTA games before, you've played the storyline.

For me, that's kind of why I like the Bethesda Elder Scrolls way of making large worlds over Rockstar. It's one thing to have a huge world, but another to have a huge, fully-interactive world. In a game like Skyrim, you can go into every building and do stuff (talk to people, steal all their shit, etc.), so there's no wasted space. In San Andreas, you'd only be able to go into certain places and the rest was just decoration. It might be marked as a small town and there might be 20 buildings in it, but all it REALLY has is a fast food place, since everything else is decoration except for one building that gets opened up for one specific quest.

Surprised this was never bumped.

Anyone else pick it up? Got it Thursday, definitely fun but the scope (map size, things to do) is intimidating.

Also, the golf minigame is great

I love playing the video games when my kids where younger but as they grew up so did I an the emphases on playing video game was limited. How old are some of you? Is playing video game the best you can do with your spare time. Is this the answer to quality time? What is created in a video, what is learned, what can you take with you, what is past on to you kids?
For some of you with kids, rethink what you are creating for the future.

I still enjoy old school pin ball, arcade games and even video golf or pool but in my house. I would however like to get a pool table someday but it not a priority.

Also picked it up Thursday. Havent played GTA in a while so I am not sure what changes have been made since the early games. I don't think I am a fan of changing characters. i'd almost rather just pick one character and build that one up instead of trying to remember who is who and who knows who or goes where.

I just got Trevor into Los Santos. He has to be the most fun to play with out of the three of them thus far.

I'm new to the GTA series (I know, I know). So I am still getting my feet wet, doing some free roaming to get a feel for things.

So you question our priorities but maintain you still enjoy older forms of video games. Got it.

I wish I didn't suck at flying the helicopter. Just like battlefield. Im just a disaster flying that thing. Was the only part of flight school I struggled with.

The golf is a fun time. Bitch from the strip club always callin cause she wants the D. Lol

I love this game. I need to just roam.around more though. I've been so addicted to the story mode ive done almost no free roaming.
