tric118, I'm glad you posted... We follow Nelsonville-York wrestling and came to many of your "Buckeye Wrestling Classic" wrestling tournaments. You know how to run a tournament. (except for the year lightning knocked all the power out). Not your fault though but man did it get hot in there quick.

Just wondering if Corbin Boney is still involved in wrestling?

Jason Russell (Columbus West) is currently 11-1 and ranked 7th in the D3 nation for Heidelberg College. This is the very same Jason Russell who won a single match as a high school freshmen, was .500 as a sophomore and barely snuck into districts as a junior. At one time, he couldn't talk his way into the live-go group at open mats. Now, he is the baddest guy in the room when he walks into a local open mat.

I posted this because I am proud of Jason, but also because some people believe a kid that loses too much will automatically quit. I say that guy would have quit anyway. Losing can drive you to succeed, as it did Jason.

HARD WORK MAKES A DIFFERENCE.

AND, thank to Jason for taking his summer vacation and personal time to pull together very good summer teams as Coach and representing Ohio at the various outings (Indiana, Michigan and others) very very well, and for teaching my kid new stuff! The teams Jason coached this summer did exceptionally well, and his leadership was an example the boys paid attention to!
