Isn't HH on Friday still one of America's greatest traditions? After a week that saw our nation divided by Issues, can we start the healing over cold ones tonight? Tell the OC whether you will be partaking at a local pub, chain joint (e.g. Applebbes, Hooters, etc) or will you be abstaining tonight?

Where will you be tippin 'em back Auto? I know if I was in the NYC area I'd be at McSorley's Pub tonight singin' Danny Boy.

I'm more of a thursday HH guy. I can power through hungover friday, but prefer not to be hungover when the weekend starts.

I will drink tonight, but not at bar. I agree with GoChiefs, good night to start a fire and sit outside.

McSorley's is a great place. I'll more than likely end up at a divey Irish pub in Astoria. Every third round is on the house no matter what....can't beat it.

Esp with NYC bar prices. I was recently back in Ohio, felt like I was drinking for free compared to a major city.

lol...so true. I'm counting the days til Thanksgiving. $20 bucks and you're loaded. I think I actually make money when I go home for a few days.

I remember when thinking $3-4 a beer was crazy in Columbus, now $5-6 is considered "decent."

McSorley's was still $3 / pint last summer when I was there. Definitely cheap compared to most NYC joints.

...and ya have to order 'em two at a time, they don't allow you to have just one pint.

Yeah.

My only knock on that place, compared to other bars here, it closes rather early. 1am I think.
