Southern Miss. vs. Middle Tennessee State from a not so full Superdome in Nawlins.

I have Southern Miss by at TD.

They have a little bit better trophy than the Clay Pot thing from the New Mexico Bowl

I think this could be ugly, depending on how MTSU's defense is.

Southern Miss with an impressive opening drive to take a 6-0 lead.

2 point conversion just failed.

Apparently USM has missed 10 Extra Points this year and had 2 returned the other way for 2 points off blocks?!?

Just in case you were wondering, the gifts for tonight's bowl game are:

Flip HD mini-camcorder
Oakley sunglasses and backpack
Balfour ring

No way a playoff could bring in that kind of revenue.

There isn't any chance that 10,000 fans would go see a team week after week in the playoff and leave a stadium 2/3s empty.

Two teams that played an entertaining game that would never sniff a playoff. In the bowl system they get to shine,

That's where you are wrong. A 120 team playoff gives every team the chance to shine. ;)

A playoff wouldn't eliminate bowls like R+ L Carriers New Orleans Bowl haha. You (I doubt you actually watched), the 58 fans at the game, and 6 people who watched it on tv can rest easy though, the BCS isn't going anywhere.
