Delusional.

Right government is the problem and taxes are theft. What other Republican propaganda do you know and tacitly support and condone?like_that;1857114 wrote:You're thinking about crony capitalism, which at this point is blatantly practiced by both parties. Sheep will be sheep and turn a blind eye as long as it benefits their "team."
Start reducing government's role in everything and you will see a reduction in crony capitalism. I always find it funny that the people who cry about evil capitalism tend to leave out the governments role.
Anyway, back to memes.

Right without welfare and taxes, we would be in economic nirvana!!!QuakerOats;1857130 wrote:Missed the point ............generations held down, economically, by ruling liberals who use welfare to buy votes. This is the example you laid out in your post.
Yes people pay me lots of money to help them with reality. I'm not very good at helping those who deny reality due to years of brainwashing by right wing propaganda.QuakerOats;1857138 wrote:Still doesn't get it ..........................and you say people hire you to do stuff ?
Don't credit Republicans with the "taxation is theft" mantra. Ask a party-line Republican about cutting taxes that go toward military spending, and see how quickly they get outraged. Or ask them about cutting their Social Security check in order to drop taxes and/or allocate the monies elsewhere.sleeper;1857120 wrote:Right government is the problem and taxes are theft. Nope. Economic nirvana doesn't exist, and only an anarchocapitalist would actively pursue such a world.sleeper;1857131 wrote:Right without welfare and taxes, we would be in economic nirvana!!!
You can't be serious. The entire Republican platform wants TAX CUTS and higher spending. People buy into it because they are stupid and think the government adds no value; WRONG.O-Trap;1857189 wrote:Don't credit Republicans with the "taxation is theft" mantra. There are different hobby horses for taxes, but they're still there.
Sorry you feel this way.like_that;1857167 wrote:Moving back to memes.

Seriously. Sit down and have a conversation with a conventional Republican and tell them that you think Social Security should be done away with, so that we can cut taxes. Or say that you think we should cut taxes that are allocated to military spending. Hell, in some cases, simply opposing increases in taxes allocated to the military budget will be enough for them to (very ironically) call you some brand of socialist/commie/etc.sleeper;1857193 wrote:You can't be serious. Fiscal difference between the two parties can largely be boiled down to this: Republicans want to cut taxes a little more, and increase spending a little less. But Trump will have his work cut out for him to add $10T to the debt like Obama did, even with the $2T hole he's starting in thanks to Obamacare.sleeper;1857193 wrote:The entire Republican platform wants TAX CUTS and higher spending.
When the rubber has hit the road, that "a little more/less" has been reeeeeeeeally little.gut;1857212 wrote:Fiscal difference between the two parties can largely be boiled down to this: Republicans want to cut taxes a little more, and increase spending a little less. This is Republican propaganda. You bought it.QuakerOats;1857196 wrote:Government is THE WORST at allocating resources, period. Thus, it never deserves more $$.
I avoid talking to complete idiots. Why would I waste time on pure trash?Seriously. Most (I won't paint the entirety of them this way) seem to pay lip service to the notion that taxation is bad ... until you touch on one of their hobby horses. Once you do that, they suddenly don't think ALL taxes are bad. Just the ones that go toward things they don't like.

I get my idiot fix on here and you're welcome for the opportunity to be told what reality is.
Maybe you didn't read. I get my 'idiot fix' on here so I clearly know what they think.O-Trap;1857295 wrote:You "avoid talking to complete idiots," but then you claim to know what they think. The cognitive bias is strong in this one.
But that certainly explains your perception on cornering the market on reality.
I did read. I was trying to make sense of your contradictory statements.sleeper;1857297 wrote:Maybe you didn't read. I get my 'idiot fix' on here so I clearly know what they think.

I don't talk to idiots on here. I read what they say and respond, sure, but there is no talking. Is it "I avoid talking to complete idiots" or "I get my idiot fix here" that is true, since the two are mutually exclusive?
