will def be picking this up next paycheck. Gonna be hard to split my free time between COD and Halo. Safe to say my winter months of hiding from the typical Ohio winter will be filled with lots of FPS time

Halo 2 was better than Halo 1, but I agree otherwise.

I enjoyed Halo 3. Not a big fan of reach though.

I loved all of the Halos. Never completed Campaign mode on any of them though. Always played online

Never played Halo 1, but I've liked them all. The multiplayer is about all I do.

Unfortunately, I may not pick this up right away. My buddy sold his 360 and all his games, he's basically the only reason why I continued to play multiplayer. And...I hit a deer last night and don't really want to spend money as I'm in limbo with job, moving, and other expenses.

Sucks.

You could always just trade in some games that you don't play anymore.

I preordered from newegg a few weeks ago...should have by the end of the week.

I haven't really liked a Halo game since Halo 2, this one looks great to me....Also getting Black Ops 2 after skipping out on COD the last 2 installments due to getting sick of it...I might still hate it, we'll see.

COD 4 and World at War were so great, downhill from there...

I've contemplated that.

The problem is, I'd like to save all my games for my kids. It was a blast playing old systems in college. I kinda want my kids to do the same, if they can.

Could just buy a huge lot of old games for your kids down the road when they are ready for them...You'll probably be able to grab an Xbox 360 and 50 games for like $50 bucks down the road...Could trade the stuff in now when it has value, re-buy down the road when the games are selling for $1.00 each.

Pretty much. I'll still buy this game sometime this week, though. I don't have much time to play xbox, unfortunately. And I'm already playing ACIII as much as I can.

I finished the campaign and have played a fair amount of multiplayer. The reviews weren't wrong, this game is really good.

My old college roomies were crack addicted to Halo 3. I played, but sucked bad.

I texted my friend this morning, he waited in line last night.

Me - "How is it?"
Him - "LEGEN - DARY. Calling off work tomorrow"

Anyone playing the single player campaign? I have been reading that "legendary" mode is much more difficult than the previous games.

So much better than reach. Only thing I don't really like much so far is how powerful nades are and how you can pick them up with a perk. Also, it sucks that there's only like 5 slayer maps.
