That's a pretty good team. There is one thing I don't like about it already but I will give it a shot this year. I haven't been paying a lot of attention to basketball yet and I picked Amare Stoudamire. It turns out he is out for like 6 weeks. In the football draft it would have said that next to his name.

Draft Monday at 7:45, we can do an auto-draft if the time of the live doesn't work for people. May not even work for me. Just let me know. If we dont have enough people(12), I might consider drafting teams instead of players.
Come on in bigdaddy, draft has not happened yet

Big into Fantasy basketball, probably my favorite of the big 3. Won the league in my long time keeper league last yr with CP3, DWill, Al Jefferson, Mike Conley, and Marc Gasol as my keepers.

COA, I like the balance of both of those teams, especially the Paul/Lillard combo--thoughts on my team? This is only the 2nd time I've done bball, I won my freshman year of college but that was a while ago.
1. (8) Kyrie Irving (G)
2. (13) Serge Ibaka (F/C)
3. (28) Rudy Gay (F)
4. (33) Ryan Anderson (F/C)
5. (48) Steve Nash (G)
6. (53) Nicolas Batum (G/F)
7. (68) Ersan Ilyasova (F)
8. (73) Andrei Bargnani (F/C)
9. (88) Bradley Beal (G)
10. (93) Brandon Roy (G/F)
11. (108) Chris Kaman (F/C)
12. (113) Harrison Barnes (F)
13. (128) Tristan Thompson (F/C)
14. (133) Rodney Stuckey
My only regret is taking Ibaka over Cousins, because I wanted to secure blocks.

12 man leagues are tough. I like the team, although you're going to struggle in assists and turnovers IMOSMITTEMS;1307914 wrote:Picked 10th of 12

Hate the ibaka pick, blocks and rebounds are the easiest categories to get off of the waiver wire He also shoots a poor FT%, one of the biggest reasons I wouldn't draft Dwight Howard. My philosophy is always to go for Pts and Ast. Usually the rarest category to get. Also not a big fan of drafting rookies. I try and avoid it if I can, I took Lillard bc I had to, wanted a starting pg with Ast potential, but I don't have high hopes for him being good/consistent this season. TT will KILL your FT% as well. I hope he can continue the ast total he gave last night, but last season he had 27 ast on the yr.....That's horrible and wasn't a rosterable player IMO. We'll see if he's vastly improved there.lhslep134;1308150 wrote:COA, I like the balance of both of those teams, especially the Paul/Lillard combo--thoughts on my team? Kaman and Bargnani are never healthy, so I wouldn't count on them either. I worry about Nash's health as well, but he could be a solid player. Love the Gay pick, him falling to the 3rd round is a steal. Roy is a lottery ticket, but I don't expect much from him, my guess is you'll cut him at some point this season. I'd be curious to see your FAs in the league.

Straight pwned in my 2 leagues last week, including an 8-0 drubbing in my 12 team long time keeper league.

I'm also 2-0. Pissed that I dropped mayo after first 2 games of season with him only scoring like 12 points per and now he's dominating. Got MKG out of it which has been working out fine though.

Yes, he is killing it. I've made a couple decent free agent picks ups in the last week. I picked up Chandler Parsons (Rockets) and Jason Maxeil (Pistons). It appears the free agent market is about dry in my league though. I'm one of the only people in my league who check the waiver wire/free agents.Rotinaj;1322049 wrote:Randolph has been an amazing pick for me so far!!! Dude is a double double beast.

Also 4-0. Griffin and Kemba having beyond horrible first games this week may prevent a 5-0 start.

I'm working on 5-0 as the guy I'm playing this week had a total of 5 players in the first 2 days and I have built a decent lead.
