How long do you guess you and your family (roomates etc) could make it if you were for whatever reason confined in your living quarters with no outside assistance?
Figuring only the amount of food and drinks you have no....no water, gas or electric assumed.
I'd guess we have enough for around 6 weeks to stay alive.

I'd probably last a day or two before I killed myself due to boredom.
After those storms pushed through during the summer, I was out of electricity for four or five days and I was hating life.

Me and my fiance could probably make it like a month here in our apartment... we have way to much food/drinks here lol. We also have a charcoal grill. We have plenty of board games and books lol.

.... between canned goods, dried food, bottled water, wood fire place ...... 2 to 3 months
Over the year we have learned our lessons .... to be prepared.
We have been in 3 or 4 situation where storms have cut off any type of movement, power and heat for days.
The worst was in Perrysburg, Ohio winter of 1978 we had no power, heat or water for a week..

Maybe a week at most. We have some lunch meat, chips, and snack food. Then when the frozen stuff thaws we could eat salmon for a day or 2 before it goes bad.
