Keep up the excuses, eventually you'll realize you gotta stop making up excuses and start judging him, fairly, as a 29 year old QB.
He could be 79, and he has still only played 8 games n the NFL.
Age doesn't make up for experience in this case, and to pretend it does is foolish.
I judge him as a rookie QB just like all the other rookie QB's. He just happens to be older.
As Dilfer said he told Weeden, the only difference between Weeden and the other rookies is he won't get a 3-4 years leash. He will have 2 years likely to show he is the guy and if there is any question the team will cut bait and move on. If he were younger he likely would get some more time.
The Browns have won 2 of 3 and Weeden has zero turnovers in those games, and is a dropped Gordon TD away from 3 in a row.
He is doing everything needed of him right now, which is more than can be said for most of our receivers if you actually watched the game today.
