Girl died after falling from here today. RIP

Great place to hang out but where she is has gotten beat up in the last few years. The bearclaws which we used to climb hardly exsist anymore and I wouldn't try them now days.

I thought this was the Mt Pleasant about 20 miles from Lancaster on Rt 93 a few miles short of Logan near Hocking Hills

I went to Devils kitchen as a kid. But I was never much for getting too close to the edge. Too many ppl falling off lately. They're gonna have to do something. Sad to hear she died. Too young.

Which also raises the question, why were her and her friend up there by themselves...
I know rising park is relatively safe, but high street in they area is not. A LOT of drugs flowing from there, especially out of the duches and duchess gas station on the corner of 6th and high street.
My brother in law is a detective and he spends way too much of his time right there.

Parents gotta be more careful these days in Lancaster. It's sad.

Midstate that gas station was on a drug special focusing on southeast Ohio. Lots of heroin coming outta there.

Is there some Quarry in Lancaster everyone jumps like 40' into water?

Really?? That's crazy

My brother in law got pretty heavy into pills. He bought them from there... Luckily having another brother in law who's a detective put enough pressure on him to stop and get help. It's sad how bad drugs have gotten in Lancaster. About a year and a half ago my wife traveled back to commission her best friend into the USAF. She went to the Cvs to get a card and was mugged by two guys. Luckily military training paid off and they couldn't get her purse and she fought them off. If you read the terrible eagle gazette you may have seen the story, as they called her a Hawaiian woman. Lol.

Hmmm there's one outside Bremen going towards Logan where you can jp off a bridge..

A couple years ago when I was still coaching some of my players showed me a You tube video of them jumping off the side of a Quarry. they said it was "near some mountain" in Lancaster. I remember laughing at the time and telling them there aren't any "mountains" in Lancaster. Maybe I was wrong.

Wait they probably were talking about rockmill out by lithopolis. I've heard of ppl doing that. I'll look that up!

Rockmill is a blast but heavily patrolled by police now since a couple people have died recently.
