Does any of your daily use electrical devices have "technical difficulties" but you put up with it and continue to use it?

I changed tv's and now the Direct tv remote no longer controls the volume.

My directv remote doesn't work in the dark, if I have a light on it's fine, if no lights forget it.

That's strange. You have a lcd or plasma tv? If so, check out the link.

I tried google- "direct tv remote does not work in the dark"
found this-

On the back of the remote it will tell you how to program it to the new tv.

I have this remote and it's just plastic on the back. No stickers or instructions inside where the batteries go either.

I tried googling, found some instructions. Started the steps, got to where it was asking me for brand name and model of tv and said hell with it. I can stand up if I want to adjust the volume.

I only have problems when Notre Dame wins a BCS bowl game. Samsung is still working on fixing that.

I have an old electric shaver. Sometimes I plug it in and it has like 1/3 power. I unplug and plug back in, or turn its power on and off, and it seems to be full go. It's almost like it needs to warm up. And I don't leave it plugged in any more because I noticed it getting super hot once (battery is obviously shot).

I was gonna give you the directions off the back of my remotes but unfortunately I dont think they will work with that one.

I use two remotes. One to turn on the receiver and one for the cable. I tried to program it once...but screwed it up, so I said Eff that. Been using the two remote method for about two years.
