Production date was 2006. Price tag: $575

I'm not sure what to really think. I wanted to say something, ask why, but didn't.


Just odd. I have never seen an HDTV at Goodwill. Yesterday I found a 6 year old one.

Its kinda like the 2012 version that Target and Sears has for $499, but it's the 2006 version for $575 "As Is"

I would of asked a person who worked there to come look at it with you then laughed in their face.

Yes, you can give flat screen tv's to Goodwill if they are in working order. I think it's just unusual because even at $300, you're losing over $200 vs. writing it off.

And $575 for a 6-yr old 40" sounds like a rip-off. I guess Goodwill has to make a buck somewhere.

The last time I saw a deal this bad I did. Blockbuster was going out of business near OSU. They had marked down their candy & pop "40%" - The had Aquifina water by the bottle 40% off. It was a 24 pack of water for $38 marked down to like $23. I told them Kroger sells 24 packs of water for $4. They said they've never heard that or have seen anything like that in Kroger.

But yeah, they wanted to do a closeout deal of $23 for a case of bottled water. Clever.

Some people are either stupid or just don't value a buck. Why do you think so many gas stations are in business? They don't make money on the gas.
