For the time being, I've unapproved the offending posts. If someone disagrees with that, they are welcome to reapprove them, but some of the plugs aren't even hidden in a post with content. They're just him posting the link, and that being it.

I think the only problem with him plugging his site is he's getting free advertisement. If he has a reciprocal link on his page for this site I don't think Justin minds. But if I recall correctly Justin doesn't like links everywhere (even in signature).
