I think Dusty has played the the correct people at the appropriate time, maybe with the exception of not putting Heisey in CF today.

With the earlier start tomorrow, getting runs early will be at more of a premium with the magnitude of the game, and the low, bright sun and shadows later in the game. Latos has to be sharp from the beginning not spotting the Giants anything.

If memory serves me the Reds on Thursday day games at home this season have played their B team when down 0-2 in the series vs. the opponent's ace and beat them with a B team that was heavily in the B category. Hopefully the A team in a do or die situation will play well.

Reds should have taken care of business already...don't want to give a team like the Giants life...I'll be pretty nervous tomorrow. I think Latos will be fine, but hope Cain doesnt pull a Vogelsong on us too.

I'm now 0-3 in postseason attendance. Fuck. I don't want to end the season at 0-4.

Jay Bruce: "Sometimes it's hard to tell whether you're at home or on the road."

Guessing that was directed at the boo's at today's game

I'm taking a 3 hour lunch break today, I don't really care...I wanna watch this damn game.

Fuck the MLB for putting fucking playoff games in the middle of the damn afternoon on weekdays.

If the Reds lose, I'm going to just start rooting for the Louisville Bats, and stop there.

The Reds just need to find a way to advance. You look out at the landscape and the world series is eminently winnable this year as neither the Cards or Nats are world beaters in an NLCS, and no one in the AL strikes me as someone that doesn't have major flaws.

If there ever was a year to do it this might be it. I think the Giants frankly are going to be a tougher out than anyone else they would face along the rest of the way.

The Reds just need to manage to score more runs than the Giants, then they should come out on top.
