We should all be thanking Justin for not being like Yappi using these ads - they are horrible. Their pop-up blocks nearly the whole screen and takes 5-6 seconds to add the close button. Then, it yanks your screen back up to the top so you have see it again then scroll back to where you were on the page.

Each time you open a new page you should make one of those interstitial full page ads that you have to wait 10 seconds before being able to skip. That'll keep members happy and bring in the big bucks for sure.

Absolutely.

I could actually ad some annoying ads to people that aren't logged in with the promise that once you're a member all the annoying ads go away. Not sure if people would just say fuck you and leave or would actually join. Either way it's likely not worth my time.
