There will be a couple QBs we can choose from, make this team instantly better. Better future too. Weeden is not good.
Gino Smith is a sophomore clown.

But GENO Smith is a senior and a possible #1 overall pick.

The Colts (or maybe Haslam firing him) are the only thing most likely standing between Shumur and a 16 game losing streak (an entire season's worth of consecutive losses).

Haslam stated last week he isn't going to immediately clean house, but who knows if it is actually true

Crimson streak;1289704 wrote:Lol ok geno smith is a system qb against big 12 defenses. Isn't that what you were saying against weedon. And the qb class blows this year. If there's no rg3 or Andrew luck then there's not an upgrade over weedon in the class. So give it up, all you ever post on the browns threads is how our qb sucks. So do us all a favor and gtfo
Why don't you do me a favor and clean my balls off, they're kind of sweaty.

I was right from the beginning, Weeden is nothing better than an average NFL QB. He's not good. Get over it.

Geno Smith is not a system QB; watch a fucking WVU game. Dude's deep ball is one of the best I've ever seen, and I'm not the only one who believes that.

Thanks.
Did just find this quote on scout, source wasnt linked though.

"Prior to the Front Office finding out the Haslam was looking into buying the team Holmgren said that McCoy was going to be the starter, and that he expected him to make another leap forward in development and that the Browns were going to bring more talent to the team on the offensive side of the ball. So, why bother making that statement only to do a 180 degree reversal?"

If Haslem is using this season to evaluate Weeden, I wouldnt rule out the possibility of trading or drafting another. A lot can happen between now and then.

Someone on the OBR asked, what is the point spread needed for Shumur to consider a game a moral victory? We know he is happy as long as they battle.

We're going to have the #1 overall pick...you are absolutely delusional if you don't think a new regime isn't going to draft a QB with that pick.

It actually makes me laugh that people here believe Haslam is going to stick with Weeden..lol

Lol @ saying geno smith isn't a system qb. Just because he "the best deep ball you've ever seen" doesn't mean he isn't a system qb

Lol ok so weedon has made some rookie mistakes and has shown he has potential. It's not hard to put up those numbers when he has fast ass receivers and there wide open. Get real geno smith is a huge risk. And no ones gives a fuck on your evaluation of qb's so tell us what mike Sam and will is? That's all we need to know how we'll you know football

Yeah, if they decide to dump Weeden after this season, fans will tear down CBS if the new regime tries to bring in yet another Big 12 QB who accumulated numbers in the spread. 3rd time won't be the charm.

Again, watch the games brother. He has a beautiful delivery; has the ability to run; very intelligent QB. Very similar to RG3.

What's your obsession with Weeden? You can't admit that he's not good? Is it really that difficult?

Colts have outscored GB 19-0 in the 2nd half and taken a 22-21 lead.

I think the Browns are probably better than them overall, but that team is going to be tough to beat in Indy. If we lose next week 0-9 at the bye is very possible.

But rg3 isn't looking like he's going to be that special.

He's nothing like rgIII and geno can't run very well if you actually watched the games. RgIII is more accurate and a stronger arm. Jimmy Clauson threw a great deep ball is he any good fuck no he blows
