Carpenter pounding the strike zone, going 0-2 on each of the four batters. Even though the Reds didn't get any hits, they used 23 of Carpenter's pitches, with none of the four using less than 4 pitches. Votto with an excellent BB!

Cards have no trouble scoring without another hit after a lead-off double, something the Reds are terrible at!

Not sure where else to post this but Billy Hamilton has been moved to center field. Not at all surprising but glad to see it finally happened.

Although I do believe Latos had Holiday struck out on the 1-2 pitch that the ump didn't call, which would have been the 2nd out, and then subsequently was able to hit a SF to CF!

Thom is absolutely unbearable to listen to. Easily the worst member of the broadcast team.

Also, Stubbs is a lost cause. I hope he's not part of the plans for next season. What a pathetic at-bat.

Redlegs up 3-1. Latos pulled after 78 pitches. Nationals beatingy Philly.

Nats win 4-2. Any combo of 1 Reds loss or Nats win tomorrow and it's official in the NL.

LeCure had Kozma struck out on the 1-2 pitch, but the ump doesn't call it, and then he hits the next pitch for a single to put 2 on and 1 out, and that is it for LeCure!

If Reds win today and tomorrow, and the Nats win tomorrrow, it is not settled in the NL if LA wins today and tomorrow. It would go to a play in game for the play in game!

Read a retweet from mathew berry saying that next year the reds are moving Hamilton from SS to CF.

Right, so the plan seems to be that Hamilton will be our CF in 2014. I'd be cool with 1 year of Heisey as a stopgap in CF. I think Stubbs needs a change of scenery if he's ever going to figure it out. I'd be cool with seeing what he could do with a different hitting coach, though. Jacoby is terrible. Also, he's a dick.
