He will finish with close to 20.

I'll go with 14.....the oop was solid

I like the ref calling the offensive foul on the 3 pointer, rarely called but good

It was a good call, but then Bron did the same thing on his last FG attempt and no call.

The time before that call the shooter kicked out his leg and no call.....I like the no call unless it's a direct kick....the other stuff messes up the shooter.

Do you have something that automatically sends you updates on former uk players or are you just so obsessed you search box scores?

Absolutely. He requested to have Kentucky listed on his profile.

Yes, I do have a team and player tracker on my phone. I do try to catch up on the NBA every night though, see what streams I can find online or watch on cable. Definitely don't love it like college though.

Kanter is without a doubt a Wildcat. And it was bullshit that he was never cleared to play.

Did he graduate or does he currently attend the school?

Neither. He was as important in knocking off Ohio State that year as Jones, Knight, Liggins or any of the other guys, though.

Josh Harrellson will back this up.

Before Kanter was screwed by the NCAA, Harrellson was doing the team laundry.

5 months later he's slamming balls off J.J. Sullinger en route to that upset.

Out of the league after getting cut by the Heat in January. Wouldn't surprise me if he gets a 10 day contract or two before the season is up.

Rotinaj....I think he meant it was because Harrellson was battling with Kanter everyday in practice. I could be wrong though because I don't recall if Kanter was eligible to practice with UK.

^ This. He wasn't allowed to "practice", but he was allowed to train and coach. Harrellson has Kanter to thank for every dollar he's made.

Yeah, I mean Harrellson had a cup of coffee in the NBA. He spent over a year on a roster. Not much of an achievement, and I wouldn't be surprised if he makes it back.

With that said, the guy was an unknown JUCO recruit brought in by Gillispie as a Sophomore. He saw 10 minutes a game under Gillispie his Sophomore year and that was down to only 88 total minutes his entire Junior season under Calipari.

Entering his Senior year, he wasn't even a factor except for an occasional fouler, yet he ends up becoming such an integral part of the rotation, goes to a Final Four and actually makes the NBA? A really crazy turnaround for a single player in just 1 year. You have to figure that having DeMarcus Cousins, Daniel Orton, Terrence Jones and Enes Kanter around during that span helped him improve his game.

Who gives a shit about an irrelevant player in Harrelson and another player who finally had a big game, but is averaging 6/4 on the season?

SMH. Kanter sucks. Can't believe I wanted him instead of TT. TT is 1000x the player Kanter will ever be.

To be fair Kanter is behind Jefferson and Milsap for playing time and Thompson has started every game this year. Jefferson and Milsap are making 15M and 8M this year respectively so of course they are going to get major minutes. Both of them are free agent's after this season so maybe one of them if not both will be gone after this year. Per 36 (I know, many people hate this stats, sometimes I do too),Kanter averages 16.2 points, 10.5 boards and 1.3 blocks and TT averages 13.0 points, 10.6 boards and .9 blocks.

After the draft, I didn't really want Kanter after he sat out for a year and was ok with getting Thompson. Still ok with that choice.
