I've never seen so much disdain for currency.

USA Americans up in two matches, euros in one. Tiger with a huge quick pull off one tee.

Rory chips in to square the first match.

Stricker has finally taken his drop from Tiger's tee ball, directly behind two pine trees.

Stricker pretty good punching through will give Tiger a chance at a makeable chip.

Stricker horrible into the water on #2. That group off to a shaky start.

Tiger and Stricker look like they hate each other. It's funny to see the difference. Mickelson and Bradley are communicating, laughing, helping each other out. Tiger and Stricker are barely looking at each other.

Hard to look at each other when they have left each other in the positions they have so far today.

Even walking to the first tee, they weren't talking or anything. It's been rough watching them so far.

Some clutch putts by the Euros. Seems like a completely different atmosphere for Europe as it does for the Americans, but I just started watching.

ah, guess I didn't notice that. They usually play well together so hopefully they get it figured out soon.

Over the last 4 years or so, they have been our best team. So if they dont get along, whatever lol. They typically win.

The US squad seems to be pissing down their legs so far. Hopefully they can turn it around. I have never seen so many snap hooks from professionals. The pressure in this event is enormous.

For some reason I dont like Furyk. His last few months of choking makes me hate him this week. Brandt would do well with someone else, imo. Furyk with another older player...problem is we only have Phil (and he and Keegan are locked together) and Woods who is pretty much paired with Stricker.

The US has been seemingly getting whooped in this thing for the last 10 years.
