Kirk said it's been a 6 year thing, and all 3 of them said lack of athletes/speed.

Desmond spoke up. I think Fowler made the comment that they don't get a lot of QBs/skill guys taken in the 1st round of the draft, and Desmond pointed out Brady and Brees and said it doesn't matter where you're drafted but how you compete.

It was nice to hear someone defend the B1G instead of shitting on it for once. I'm not saying we're not down this year, but B1G operates a lot differently as a whole off the field compared to other conferences.

BTW, Desmond just lost some credibility because he said "I'm not drinking the beaver juice" when talking about Oregon State. Crew could barely keep it together.

Great start by the Buckeye offense today!

Hopefully Braxton wasn't hurt on that late hit.

But it was nice to see Guiton continue to lead the offense.

That's the one thing that is nice about him as a backup. He can run this offense.

Good first drive. Michigan State's bleachers are waaaay to close to the field. Equipment is right off the field of play

Bogus. I guess you're not allowed to push someone above the shoulders anymore.

I said it in another thread. He didn't lead with his head. He shoved him. How are you supposed to tackle somebody and not get a penalty now?

I'm guessing the penalty was because of how aggressive it looked

By not jacking a defenseless receiver in the face? If he had actually gone for the chest he probably would have jarred that ball loose.

I thought Meyer was going to punch a ref in the face after that call. LOL.

I love when coaches get all fired up like that.

He has the ball. A ballcarrier is not defined as "defenseless"
