Guy in my league is offering me:
Steven Jackson and Matt Schaub
for
Bears Defense and Carson Palmer
It would leave me having to pick up a scrub defense..I have Stafford as my starting QB..My running backs are Michael Turner (sick of him), Steven Ridley, and Kevin Smith..Jackson would definitely help secure my running backs, but should I give up the Bears defense?

you could always just pick up a defense each week who is playing the browns/kc/raiders/etc. and probly wouldnt do to much worse than having the bears d. problem is that sjax seems like he's not gonna stay healthy. i have nfl ticket so ive seen the rams a bit he has been running extremely hard.baseballstud24;1276761 wrote:Guy in my league is offering me:

Do it. You're better off picking up a defense each week.

Is that guy retarded?! Hit accept as fast as you can. Who the fuck trades a defense and a washed up QB for a #1 back and qb?

This. Im sure there is probably a decent defense out there anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if the Browns or Cardinals were available for you to pick up haha.Raw Dawgin' it;1276863 wrote:Is that guy retarded?! Hit accept as fast as you can. it also depends on how the defensive scoring is set up. I have been in leagues where every point your defense gives up is subtracted from your total points which is extreme. but in two different leagues this year the giants defense amount of points has been different in each

Had a guy offer a similarly shitty trade. Because we cant accept trades from Thursday through Tuesday because of waivers. Then he cancelled it Sunday night.

I have a trade to consider and want some thoughts:
I would get MJD and Dwayne Bowe
I would have to give up Calvin Johnson and Mark Ingram
My other top two receivers are currently Brandon Marshall and Torrey Smith
My other top two RB are currently Willis McGahee and Fred Jackson on my bench with injury

I would as well. Bowe is pretty decent so you won't lose much by giving up Megatron for him... and MJD is a huge upgrade over Ingram.

Potential trade for me:
Matt Schaub and Kyle Rudolph(giving up)
for
Antonio Brown(getting)
Have Andrew Luck and Jay Cutler(smh) at QB, Gronk at TE, Cruz, Percy, and Decker at WR. Passing TDs are worth 6, and TDs over 40 yards are an extra 3 points, everything else is standard. It is also a keeper league so I could have Brown for 3-4 years realistically. I'm leaning towards yes because Brown could have a few TDs over 40 yards and be a top 7 or 8 WR.
Opinions?

Brown is still boom or bust and he fumbles a lot. It seems like Ben looks for Wallace or Miller first. Only way I'd consider if you get points for special teams because dude is beast of a punt returner.Terry_Tate;1279497 wrote:Potential trade for me:
