If this goes through and is true, this may be the single best moment of the football season for me! (I'm a Browns fan, I don't get much joy from the actual "season" usually)

Or just switch to DirecTV and get the NFL Sunday Ticket MAX for free. I just called today because my contract was up for a few months, so threatened to cancel. They gave me that, but said they also offer it to every new customer.

We pay $20 extra for just a HD DVR box, so I doubt it.

It's mentioned in one of the articles linked above...
The NFL Network will be part of Time Warner Cable's digital program package, which includes 175 HD channels. The Red Zone channel will be available on the company's game pass sports tier, which includes sports channels such as the Big Ten Network

Got this email from a friend (who works for TW) yesterday after I emailed him saying it's about time they got it together with the NFL Network:
We got an official email yesterday saying contrary to rumors, no deal has been reached yet, so who knows....
