I will never understand how these athletes make so much money, retire, and have nothing to show for it...other than no matter how much money someone makes, it doesn't change their intelligence.

Not too shocking that a guy who scored a 6 on the Wonderlic test doesn't know how to handle money.

Is this a surprise to anyone? Mr. Young scored a six (6) on the Wonderlic. Why would anyone expect him to actually know how to manage his finances?!

It's a shame that these talented young athletes aren't surrounded with people who have the athlete's best interest at heart when giving out advice. But there is only so much you can do to "help" someone. If an adult surrounds himself with individuals who are just looking for a piece of the pie, then this is what should be expected.

I know VY scored that low and know he's retarded, so this one in particular is not surprising to me. He is just the latest in a long line of professional athletes that go broke QUICKLY after retirement.ernest_t_bass;1275011 wrote:He scored a 6 on the Wonderlic test. Not surprised he is broke. The first person mentioning the 6 on the Wonderlic got repped. The rest of you didn't.
Sorry.

I assume scoring six on the Wonderlic means you generally do not make smart decisions?ernest_t_bass;1275011 wrote:He scored a 6 on the Wonderlic test. Not surprised he is broke. Did you guys know he scored a 6 on the Wonderlic test?

Considering a 10 is the threshold to suggest that a person is literate. A 6 is pretty low.said_aouita;1275098 wrote:I assume scoring six on the Wonderlic means you generally do not make smart decisions?
The wikipedia page for this is actually kind of interesting with some studies comparing the correlation (or lack there of) of wonderlic test scores and success in the NFL.

I once did a test for work that, if not the Wonderlic, is at least the same style/format as it. 50 questions, xx minutes (can't remember...between 15 and 30). They're multiple choice; kind of like a quicker ACT/SAT sort of thing where the goal is to answer as many quickly in as short of time as possible to show an ability (I guess) to make quick and accurate decisions. To get a 6 on it means you might barely be one step north of retard.said_aouita;1275098 wrote:I assume scoring six on the Wonderlic means you generally do not make smart decisions?

Are you implying that a persons IQ is correlated directly with their latitude? Interesting theory...Heretic;1275108 wrote:To get a 6 on it means you might barely be one step north of retard.

Does anyone know what his Wonderlic Score was? Maybe that would give us an idea of how he went broke. If we knew his Wonderlic Score.

I asked the internet and was told to "GFY" and "You're retarded" was the only answer found.SnotBubbles;1275126 wrote:Does anyone know what his Wonderlic Score was? Maybe that would give us an idea of how he went broke. If we knew his Wonderlic Score.
