B1G has 4 wins against BCS teams. 3 by Northwestern, 1 by Ohio State. All that according to @GerdOzone on twitter

I mean, someone is going to play the ACC or Big East.

You think Louisville is going to embarrass anyone?

Yeah I mean Wisconsin shoulda lost to Utah State and is anemic offensively, OSU can at least do something. I'm starting to think Purdue is the most impressive team we've got

But your B1G rep is stuck in the Rose Bowl, playing the Pac-12

Like every year...you just have to hope the traditional BCS ties hold in the Orange Bowl and only 1 of the BCS games becomes unwatchable.

As bad as they are, they are still not as bad as the ACC or Big East.
But, that is not saying much.

Whatever poor sap of the B1G team heads to Pasadena, it could be ugly like usual.
If I was at Purdue or Northwestern, I would have really high hopes right now.

That said, it is Sept, and as we know, once conference play starts, anything can happen.
The league is a joke though.

You think we've got a team to match Clemson or FSU? ACC>Big 10

If the B1G plays someone from the Big East or ACC they can win. Anyone else there's no shot. Definitely no shot they get 2 teams in this year. Running the table is a real possibility for Ohio State just because of how bad everyone else looks. Michigan may be the only team in the way.

The way the rest of the season goes and the fact that the PAC 12 now has a title game, the Clemson/FSU winner next week might be in the BCS CG.

That's true, but Michigan got Va Tech in the BCS last year in a "down year" for the Big 10.

With 10 teams, assuming the SEC and Pac-12 get 2, that leaves 6 teams. Big East is 1 team guaranteed. That leaves 5 for ACC, B1G, Big 12, and non-BCS.

I don't see any real non-BCS contenders, so the B1G has a decent shot at 2 teams, and 1 would be a bottom pick playing the ACC or Big East rep of the world.

No, but the B1G is deeper than those two teams.
The rest of the league is just plain awful.
I would take Clemson and FSU over any team in the B1G, but I would take the top 5 in the B1G over the top 5 in the ACC.

Did you watch football today at all? The ACC is better than the B1G? GTFO. They played three BE Teams today and lost three games. VT got beat by PITT, who Cincinnati destroyed last week and YSU the week before. UNC got beat by the Ville, and Uconn beat Maryland lol.
