I still see commercials for it every once in a while. Anyone on here still actually use it? I can't remember the last time I checked mine.

I used it a few weeks back to do a Google+ hangout for a fantasy draft....but aside from that I hadn't been there in at least a year.

It's still a thing but nobody uses it.

The naming probably had something to do with that and they just didn't market it well.

It's sad, because Googl+ is 10x the application Facebook is; it's just since no girls are on it (because they're too dumb to realize its better/how to use circles) no guys are on it.

If it was 10x the application that FB is it would have a hell of a lot more success. It doesn't matter how many females use it, or guys. I'm a bit confused by that statement.

Besides the circles feature, which is basically a version of FB groups and lists, it has nothing worthwhile.

Google + is better, but it lacks active users. A catch-22; no one is using the site because no one is using the site.

I saw an article stating Myspace averages more hits daily.

Google+ didn't really offer much hasn't already been done. I gave it a chance, but no real point in ditching FB for something that I've already seen before.

The video conferencing with groups is cool, but again...it's been done.

is google+ a hangout for twilight fans? As you are the only person on this thread or the movie thread that admitted to liking twilight, I'm assuming that's the only reason you like it and everyone else hates it?

No, not really. There are plenty of "superior" products out there that never gained traction either because of marginalized marketing, suffering from second-to-market, and many other reasons. All you need to do is actually jump on Google+ and actually use it for a week to know its better/simpler/friendlier/etc to use than Facebook. Again, the biggest reason for it's "failure" is because women aren't on it because they are more "comfortable/familiar" with Facebook and don't want to try/learn something new.

Actually, it did. Google+ was the first to introduce the idea of "circles" and sharing certain things with certain groups of people. Facebook was actually smart and decided to 'copy' the idea as quickly as possible.

lol....you're just talking out of your ass. I already mentioned that it had the "circles" function. Awesome!

Yeah, no females is the reason it's failing.

No users AT ALL, is biggest reason it's failing. The super 'group' function isn't enough to make it relevant.

Again, I was open to it. I used it for a while even in the beta stage. I found it very underwhelming and ditched it when people got over the initial fad and stopped using it all together.
