At the moment, I bat right only; softball, not baseball.

Anyone here go at it from both sides of the plate? Based on some posts, I think at least a few of you have tried it.

Based on the responses, it's apparent everyone loves their mom and no one plays softball/baseball. To bad, I go both ways to the ballpark; depending on my mood.

I bat right handed and throw left handed. Play Golf right handed but bowl left handed.

What hand does everyone "play" with lol? That might get some responses...or an infraction. ;)

I'll answer this as if it was a serious question, because I believe the original intent of the OP was serious...

I've coached fastpitch girls softball for a number of years and had two daughters who were outstanding players. When my youngest was 12 we switched her over to the left side to take advantage of her speed and quickness and the shorter distance to first. It was obvious she was going to be petite...and although she had a trained and good swing from the right side, the move to the other side of the plate complimented her physical attributes better.
That said, I'm not sure how that would translate to men's slow pitch (which is what I assume you are talking about.) It would seem to me however, that a move across the plate at this point, would be purely for show, unless you feel you have the speed to slap the ball and try to beat out infield hits.
