Keep in mind, Clevelanders didn't support their team all that much either.

Art Modell may have been THE smartest businessman on the whole F'n planet but that doesn't mean he was any less of a total asshole. It kills me how people use the "smart businessman" argument to justify screwing over the populace of an entire geographical region of the country. I personally was never a huge Browns fan but my old man was and he passed away in 1996 a little less happier than he was before the Browns left town. FU Art.
