Northwest is going to have to really pull it together if they want to get their first win.

I don't know much about Padua this year, but their scouts sat in front of us at the game last night and did not seem impressed at all.

I really hope these boys can find the fire that they need to succeed!

GO INDIANS!

Synopsis from the first three weeks (as posted on the South thread):

Well, I would say that we looked slightly better this week but still nowhere near good. To be totally honest I think we will be lucky to win 2 games total this year, and even the Kenmore and Barberton games are starting to worry me.

There seems to be something wrong on every play, whether it be a wrong route, an over-thrown pass, a RB running into his own players, or the line just not blocking. They just don't seem to be able to pull anything together.

Really the defense isn't looking too bad, the only play that had us beat every time was the long ball to #10 (who by the way was REALLY good). We had no answer for that.

Overall it just doesn't seem like these boys are playing with the same fire as past seasons. They played with heart and fought hard at the end of the game last night, but overall just not the same intensity. I don't know why that would be, but from the players I know personally, they just don't seem to care as much about winning as past seasons.

It just seems we have a very very young team. Other than Bowman, Schley and Harris. What seniors play? Oh well years like this will happen. Hopefully the young indians will continue to grow as the season goes along. Obviously the Playoffs are out of the picture, but I would like to see us pull together and fight for a winning season.

We may be a little lean on Seniors this year but few a names standout aside from those Lockup mentioned...West, Wellman (line), Smith, Waddle, Marty. But I agree, generally a young team. We still need to figure out a way to use them hogs up front with the quickness we have in Harris and Mullane.

If I were an upcoming opponent...I would take our 0-3 record for granted, maybe take a Tuesday or Wednesday off.

Stay tuned Indian Nation...
