Ace Ventura 1 was better. Your son has shitty taste in movies, so your wife has every right to be worried.

More importantly is why you let your third-grade son watch Ace Ventura movies enough times so that he can quote them on his schoolwork. Parenting fail?

Wife has nothing to worry about. He did exactly what the paper asked, and really well actually with the supporting details. Could have been much worse, I've had kids write a summary of the Rob Zombie "Halloween" movie before....same age.

When reading the requirements and what he wrote I'd say he nailed the assignment. He showed he knows how to back up a claim, which is something a lot of posters on this site can't do. You should get him an account soon!

I'd say you're probably at the bottom of the list of people on this site or probably anywhere that have any ground to stand on when criticizing the actions of others.

He watched it mostly in K-2nd grade.
As for parenting fail....meh, we'll see. In kindergarten the principal pulled him out of class to read a book to the 1st graders. In 1st and 2nd grades he won his grade level math and spelling B's. In July, he was honored at the school board meeting for having read over 2 million words last year and earning the most accelerated reader points in the 10 year history of that school.
.....fortunately he also likes it when Jim Carrey talks out his ass.
It's called well-rounded.

He likes to watch the same shows every kid seems to like and he watches Jeff Dunham, Looney Tunes and Friends.
