Guy offered me Ahmad Bradshaw and Ben Tate OR Ryan Williams for Jamaal Charles. My other RB are Fred Jackson, Jacquizz Rodgers, Mikel Leshoure (really poor depth at RB, I know).
I'm think I'm going to turn him down but before I do I want to make sure I'm not crazy for refusing better depth in exchange for my #1 RB.

Also, for the lulz, some moron in another league offered me James Starks for David Wilson. What a failtrade that would be.

You have to have terrible depth to ever do 1 for 2 trades where you are getting the 2.
You always want to have good enough depth to be the one getting the stud for 2 lower guys.
I say no.

Am I stupid for trading Kevin Smith for Quizz Rodgers?
Keep in mind it's a keeper league, I'm loaded at RB, and I don't want to deal with the RB roullette in Detroit this year.

If you're truly loaded at RB I don't see the issue with it. Smith is going to be the main man in Detroit this year (Leshoure is unproven and suspended, Best is out) but he can never stay healthy. If he's the main man, he's good for 10+ points a game, while Quizz will probably have his share of games with only a 3 or 4 touches. But, Rodgers definitely has the upside.SportsAndLady;1263449 wrote:Am I stupid for trading Kevin Smith for Quizz Rodgers?

Someone just offered me Darren Sproles for Mike Wallace.
My WR:
Megatron
Wallace
Decker
Rice
Cobb
Jeffery
Stephen Hill
My RB:
Jamaal Charles
Fred Jackson
Peyton Hillis
Jacquizz Rodgers
Mikel Leshoure
I think I have to take it because my WR depth is great, and RB terrible with FJax out, but before I jump want to make sure I'm not mad. Note, we start 3 WR and 2 RB. No PPR.

Can you not make a better deal? Sproles had 0 carries and it isn even a Ppr league. Bad trade IMO.

He has:
WR:
Brandon Lloyd
Nate Washington
Malcom Floyd
Titus Young
Denarius Moore
RB:
Steven Jackson
Stevan Ridley
Ryan Mathews
Darren Sproles
Shane Vereen
Felix Jones
I suppose I could try SJax, Ridley or Mathews for Wallace or Decker. But I don't think he bites.

You are loaded at WR and he needs WRs badly. Try to get one of his better RBs or trade a lesser WR. I wouldn't do Sproles for Wallace even with your great depth.

Well good thing I asked here. Thinking of countering Wallace for SJax but I haven't researched Jackson this year much. Do you think he'll see a drop off in production?

gorocks- I'd try and get SJax or Mathews no way I'd want Sproles in a non ppr league.
RDI- That's a good trade... If you've already got 2 RBs better than Charles I'd do it.

It got rejected - he said he was solid at RB and didn't need charles.Iliketurtles;1268911 wrote:gorocks- I'd try and get SJax or Mathews no way I'd want Sproles in a non ppr league.

I just got an email for a trade: Sproles/D. Thomas for Ray Rice
I have Welker, Roddy, lloyd, Jeffrey, McCluster, and Hill - I'm tempted to say no

No way I'm giving up Rice for those two. Even if your league is PPR(which I believe you have said yours is?).Raw Dawgin' it;1268918 wrote:It got rejected - he said he was solid at RB and didn't need charles.

I have a guy who really wants Hernandez. I would have to take Finley from him to fill the void, but how much more do you think can get out of it?

Not much more... I'd probably give up like my 4th RB or 5th WR. Basically just some bench player I'd only use if others got injured. But I mean if he really wants Hernandez try and get his 3rd best RB or 4th best WR.GOONx19;1268957 wrote:I have a guy who really wants Hernandez. I want to do a trade, but want to hear opinions.
I'd give up Kyle Rudolph and Titus Young for Coby Fleener. Then I would pick up Stephen Hill. Gronkowski is my starting TE. It's a keeper league so I could keep Fleener for years because Gronk will be too expensive in 2 years or I could trade him. I just love Coby Fleener and think Hill can put up as good or better numbers than Titus easily.

Give up Aaron Hernandez for Jacob Tamme and another receiver: Stephen Hill, Bolden, or Sidney Rice?

I was just offered Frank Gore OR Reggie Bush for Mike Wallace (same league as above). It's not as sexy as say, Steven Jackson, that's for sure, but at least Gore is probably better than the Sproles offer received earlier. I don't think I would do Bush in a non-PPR. Thinking, again, I'll turn it down, but wanted some opinions.

Gore had a damn good week 1. You're pretty thin at RB. I don't think it's a bad trade.
